How to make a referral
I accept referrals from parents, foster carers, GP’s, Schools, nursery's and Children Services. For initial contact please email or call with your details.  I offer a free initial 15 minute conversation, or we can book in the initial parent meeting which is required before therapy starts. I can offer this face to face or virtually. This meeting is for 50 minutes and I charge £30. This is a chance to share your concerns and I will gather background information about your child. This is also a space where I can explain the process and answer any questions. If you do decide to go ahead we will then arrange a convenient weekly session time. Sessions are £58. I offer a letter to introduce myself to the child before starting, and welcome parent’s into the studio if this supports the child to feel more comfortable in the initial sessions. For younger children particularly having parents part of the session can be beneficial, but will be explored and planned in the initial meeting. You are always welcome to contact me throughout the play therapy process, but I will reach out to review progress with parents around every 7 sessions.
